On Nov. 16, Minnesota Public Radio/American Public Media and its sponsors will host leaders in philanthropy, media, government, and you, for an important discussion about the future of local and regional journalism, The Future of News: Creating A New Model For Regional Journalism In America.
The goal is to contemplate the design of a new model for regional journalism and a path to restoring the independent and robust fourth estate America requires. While they meet in the UBS Forum at the MPR headquarters in St. Paul, Minn., you're invited to attend online, streaming live video of keynote and panel discussions and fully participate in the discussion by posting questions and suggesting ideas to the day’s moderators and participants. Participation will be fielded equally from the audience in St. Paul and the audience online and displayed inside the Forum; your ideas, and your name, will be in front of the innovators who can make them happen.
